- Plan, implement, and evaluate
interventions based on evidence-based standards to reduce risk,
screen, immunize, and promote healthy aging in older adults.
- Plan and evaluate strategies to
promote/maintain physical and mental function and engagement with life
in older adults.
- Use technology to enhance older
adults' physical and mental function, autonomy, engagement with life,
and safety.
- Plan and evaluate strategies to
promote optimal sleep, to overcome barriers to optimal nutrition and
hydration, and to encourage goal-setting and beneficial lifestyle
choices in older adults.
- Plan and evaluate interventions to
prevent or reduce common risk factors that contribute to functional
decline, impaired quality of life, and excess disability in older
adults.
- Access resources to evaluate the
utility of complementary and integrative health care practices on
health promotion and symptom management for older adults.
- Facilitate older adults' active
participation in their own health care.
